This category isn't limited to academic philosophy, or even philosophy in general. It's concatenated to "philosophy" because long category titles are cumbersome in the system. This could be titled anything along the lines of: ideas, theories, or foundations. We're in the midst of a few problems, and our desired way of life runs counter to the goals of the hyper-monoculturized society, and it might require some deep thinking to get where we want to be.
Some of the non-primary definitions of philosophy that may apply to this category
- a particular system of thought based on such study or investigation
- a system of principles for guidance in practical affairs
Notice the practical bit. We're interested in philosophy that can be put into practice. And we're interested in putting it into practice. Post haste.
